Yoga is about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. Our yoga class runs every Monday at 6pm and is a great way to start the week.
What is yoga? There are many different ideas that are related to Yoga; where it comes from, what it is all about and how to practice a range of techniques. Derived from the Sanskrit word "Yuj" which means "to unite or integrate". Yoga is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge that focuses on harmonizing the body through the use of breathing techniques, postures or (asanas) and meditation.
The duration of each Yoga class can vary slightly depending on the instructor, generally speaking each group class will run for approximately 60 minutes. Yoga mats are available for hire at the reception.
