Class Descriptions

Functional Strength Classes
45 Minutes

This workout is designed around mimicking activities that you use in your daily life, including work and sport. It will train your muscles to work together to perform these daily tasks more efficiently.

This can be achieved by using both body weight exercises and gym equipment.

HIIT Classes
45 Minutes

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is where you give everything you have, one hundred percent effort. It includes alternating between high energetic bursts, followed by a short recovery period. It’s a great workout for burning calories as it continues to do so for 48 to 72 hours post exercise.

 Abs, Butts & Thighs
45 Minutes

A low impact workout to tone and trim your Abs, Butt and thighs. This class uses a variety of different exercises to target these areas. Working on mats as well as standing exercises and using your own body weight for strength enhancing and muscle toning exercises as well as resistance training you will increase tone, firmness and strength. This workout is designed to yield results. Suitable for all fitness levels.

 RUNNING GROUP NEW

Running doesn't have to be a solo adventure into the suburbs. Join others who enjoy getting out and receiving the benefits of running. Joining a group can help you achieve those fitness goals you thought were out of reach.

 NOTHING BUT CORE NEW
< 30 Minutes

Train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and stability. This class will help you with a well-rounded fitness program.

 Endurance
45 Minutes

Endurance is about your cardiovascular (CV) and muscular endurance (ME). It is not a strength workout however strength components may be utilised during this workout.

Endurance training is the act of exercising in a way that increases the body’s ability to withstand activity for extended periods of time. Some weights and equipment may be used. Boxing components (Tai Bo Style) and agility aspects may also be included

 20-10 NEW
< 30 Minutes

20-10 is high intensity type of interval workout that was inspired by Dr. Izumi Tabata. Tabata Training is a great way to spice up your workouts, burn more calories and get more out of your exercise time. Because the intervals are so short, you really feel them, but the workout flies by.

Give 100% to each workout gives you the best

 Protocol –

 20 secs on 10 secs off = 4 Minutes * 8 =1 round (4 minutes).  1 round * 6 = 24 minutes

12RC NEW
< 30 Minutes

12RC is a circuit based program. Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity. It can target strength building or muscular endurance or cardio endurance.

An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all exercises in the workout. When one circuit has been completed, you start at the beginning and go again.

Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise. You are there to work

Exercises are performed with a high level of effort, or intensity. With a working time of between 30 & 40 Seconds with 20 or 30 Seconds rest.

There are 12 stations with maximum 12 people for 30 minutes. One station is a rest, with cardio based exercises in between to help preform at your best. Can be based around equipment of Body weight.

FACTOR-5 NEW

Factor-5 is an innovative style that is suitable for beginner’s right through advanced. With a strength and sports conditioning bias.

Participants will learn basic exercises, correct technique and control of their body. Being in this class gives everyone the ability to increase their fitness level, coordination, and exercise knowledge.

Workouts are designed to suit any fitness level. At the beginning of each month we start with easier and progress to more interesting workouts.

The overall goal of this class is to get members moving and work at increasing their fitness levels

BODY UP & BODY DOWN. NEW
< 30 Minutes each

Body Up & Body Down are high intensity workouts that work to continually improve your fitness while shaping and toning.  Using high energy training combined with athletic aerobic movements with aspects of strength and stabilisation. 

Over 40’s Class
45 Minutes

A class for over 40’s to help, achieve and maintain an active lifestyle. Learn to increase your confidence in your body and improve the way you live your life, HIIT Style.
